Build to Space

Design, build, and fly your very own spacecraft as you attempt to escape post-nuclear Earth and search the galaxy for a new home for the human race! Defend yourself against the radiation-created monsters that now roam the Earth by using your laser weapons.

This is the first part of an ongoing project for UCI's Video Game Development club.

Controls (the tutorial is a work in progress)

'Enter' or click to advance dialogue and interact with NPCs or objects

'Right Shift' to cancel dialogue or close menus

'M' to open your wrist tablet, giving you access to various apps including building

'esc' is the shortcut to open the building app.

While in building menu:

- To create a ship or structure not locked to the ground, enter the hangar. Remember to save when done. Then paste your creation through the building menu.

- 'R' to rotate object

- Press and hold object to destroy

While near a ship:

-  Right click to activate thrusters (if any)

'Spacebar' for jetpack

'tab' to open/close weapon wheel

Click to shoot

Extra controls:

ctrl + H to go to hangar

ctrl + G to leave hangar

ctrl + C to copy ship from hangar

ctrl + V to paste ship from hangar

ctrl + L to reset game
